Music
In Music we use the Charanga scheme of work to support teaching and learning. To enhance the teaching of Music we also work with Derbyshire Music Partnership who deliver Musical Gems with Nursery and Reception, Musical Explorers with Year 1 and 2 and teach a tuned instrument with Year 4.
St Joseph's also have close links with SCART, an outreach programme connected to Springwell secondary school. Brian Evans, a music specialists, works with staff in Years 3, 4 and 6 to support the development of music and is currently working with Year 3.
