Collective Worship
Collective worship at St Joseph's is a time where the whole school come together to share, sing, pray, learn and reflect.
“The weekly schedule allows for consideration of the Sunday gospel, a focus on global perspectives, seasonal feasts within the liturgical year, classroom based prayer and celebration of achievements.”
Collective worship happens everyday in a variety of styles across the week.
Monday - Key Stage two children gather in the hall for a Collective Worship led by the Headteacher.
EYFS and Key Stage one gather in their classrooms
Tuesday - Children gather in their classrooms for a Celebration of the Word led by the children.
Wednesday - The whole school gather in the hall for Celebration of the Word led by the Headteacher, the focus is on the Sunday Liturgy
Thursday - Key Stage one and EYFS children gather in the hall for Celebration of the World led by the Headteacher.

Friday - Celebrating Success
Key Stage celebration of the word with the Headteacher focusses on Global learning, where Catholic Social Teaching is interwoven through. World issue are also discussed and prayer is dedicated to global and world issues.
Classroom celebration of the word uses 'Let Us Pray Together' which supports the children with delivery. Different virtues are discussed and shared in Key Stage two with Bible stories being a focus in EYFS and Key Stage 1.
